by Alan Taylor and Eric Tonks, published by Ian Allan in 1950. Out of print.

Wordy book containing a few photos and drawings. Covers the line in logical sections. Contains set of locomotive, carriage and wagon drawings by Douglas Clayton in 1963. Also track layouts at stations showing changes made over time.

Branch Line To Southwold

by Vic Mitchell and Keith Smith, published by Middleton Press in 1984. ISBN 0-906520-15-8

Book containing over 100 photos with a few notes on each. Book is arranged geographically from Halesworth to Southwold.

Buildings and Structures of Narrow Gauge Railway

Compilation of drawings including Southwold, Wenhaston, Walberswick and Halesworth stations along with one of the double arm signals from Southwold. All Southwold Railway related drawings by Edwin Daws.

The Revival of the Southwold Railway

by A D Negus, published by The Southwold Railway Society in 2003.

Draft paper for Consultation detailing the full reinstatement of the line from Halesworth to Southwold albeit by a different route than the original in parts. The booket contains many maps and drawings, even costings.
